Robert Shane Bulmer was born in Florida and was an active participant in all sports throughout his young life until a football knee injury sidelined him in high school. Shane grew up in the Venice, California area but has also lived in Alabama and Florida.

Shane has been a part of the IMAA family since 2011. The gym has given him the confidence and the way to push forward in life and to never give up. He was so impressed and incredibly grateful for how much the training has helped him in life that he wanted to help other people in the same light. Shane was recognized for his exceptional leadership and training abilities and was chosen to take part in the first IMAA instructor course!

Shane is currently a black belt and working towards his second degree black belt.

As an instructor in all aspects of martial arts, Shane has a strong focus on physical conditioning and self-defense and wants to help others gain the inner strength and confidence that he has received under the guidance of Hezi Sheli. He is the owner and CEO of Bonded Electric Construction Company since 2009. He has been a certified electrician for over 20 years and specializes in high end custom homes.

Shane has a son who lives in Oregon. He is also a lover of animals and volunteers at Animal rescue centers and Equestrian therapy for kids in need. He is the proud owner of 2 rescue dogs, Jake and Kano.
